Dr. Moriba Jah visits Hawaii -- the life of the land is perpetuated in righteousness (Ua Mau ke Ea o ka Aina i ka Pono) -- to encourage our audience to join him as a Privateer -- where you interact with Maui's Space Surveillance System to learn more about space debris and our role in becoming a space environmentalist. Learning from the Hawaiian traditions of this great island, Moriba visits Molokai to meet with two schools on the island where Hawaiian tradition and sustainable lifestyle are still practiced. Alongside Moriba, the audience learns to link cultural ideas about environmentalism on land and sea to another element common to us all - our sky!

New Zealand 

Dr. Moriba Jah visits New Zealand – the “clean, green adventure-playground”- to prompt to adopt the behaviors of a space environmentalist and agree to an intergenerational social contract. In this chapter, the audience will travel and visit Rocket Labs, which strives to open access to space to improve life on Earth. The audience will also be introduced and interact with the Maori culture, opening their eyes to a new perspective and ways to maintain a sustainable lifestyle.

Dr. Moriba Jah visits Germany – the land of “Einigkeit und Recht und Freheit” (translated to “Unity and Justice and Freedom”) – to learn from experts to better understand the geopolitics of near-earth space and the race to maintain control and stake out power with proposed solutions of how to work together. The audience will visit, explore, and interact with those at the European Space Operations Centre in Darmstadt and the German Space Situational Awareness Centre in Kalkar.

Dr. Moriba Jah visits Japan- the land of “Endless Discovery” – to explain to the audience how there are no space traffic cops or traffic rules. The audience will visit and interact with the Astroscale and the Ancient Japanese environmentalism culture to discover how space commerce matters to build a sustainable marketplace in low-earth orbit. Each competing entity acts in mutual exclusivity and in their own myopic self-interest.

Dr. Moriba Jah visits Scotland- “Nemo me impune lacessit” (translated to “No one provokes me with impunity”- to take the audience on a journey of discovery to see how competing global interests threaten the precarious balance, and consequently, our future way of life. The audience will visit and interact with the SaxaVard Space Centre, Skyrora Rockets, and the Druid community to become educated on how there is a clear arms race in outer space, with high stakes, and potentially long-lasting dire consequences if left unchecked.

Dr. Moriba Jah visits Alaska- the land that is “North to the Future”- to express the increase in new parties participating in space exploration and commerce, and how this has given rise to an accelerated increase of satellites launched into our near-earth space orbit. The audience will visit and interact with the Launch Facility on Kodiak Island, the Artic community, and the Inuit community to discover how the world need’s the “flatten the curve” on this equivalent pandemic problem, to adopt the behaviors of space environmentalists, and to agree upon an intergenerational social contract.

Dr. Moriba Jah visits Texas – the land of “Friendship” – to educate the audience on the increase in new parties participating in space exploration and how commerce has given rise to an accelerated increase of satellites launched into our near-earth orbit.  The audience will visit and interact with Elon Musk’s SpaceX and Starbase, Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin, the Johnson Space Center, and our Shifted Space team at the University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Moriba Jah visits Egypt- the land “where it all begins”- to educate the audience about how our near-earth space is finite and essential.  The audience will visit and interact with African Space Agency in Cairo and Ancient Egypt to discover the history of theories of space and understand the relationship of land, earth, and sky.
